Novak Djokovic is all set for the Paris Olympics. He will be going to Paris for his sole goal of bringing the gold medal to Serbia. But what will he be wearing?

The former World No.1 will be participating in only singles events. His kit, designed by Lacoste, is of red, blue, and white- the colors of the Serbian flag.

Djokovic’s biggest rivals, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Andy Murray have all won an Olympic gold medal. Although the Serb, with the most Grand Slam titles, has not emerged victorious in a final, he won the bronze medal in the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

In the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, the current World No.2 lost the bronze medal match to Spain’s Pablo Carreno Busta in singles, while a shoulder injury ruled him out of the mixed doubles bronze medal match along with Nina Stojanovic. The Paris Olympics starts on July 26, but the tennis matches will be played from July 27 at Roland Garros.

Novak Djokovic opened up about his major goals post Wimbledon defeat

Novak Djokovic will be back on the Roland Garros courts where he, about a month ago, got injured. He hurt his knee during the fourth round and withdrew from the quarterfinals.

After undergoing surgery, the 24-time Grand Slam champion played at Wimbledon and advanced to his first final of the season, but Carlos Alcaraz easily defeated him in straight sets to win his second title at the SW19. Although Djokovic was far from his best in the final, he is ready to do all he can to win his first gold in his possible last Olympics.

Let's see how physically and mentally I'm going to feel. Hopefully, I can find the right tennis because I'm going to need all I have and more to go to the final of the Olympic Games. The Olympic Games and the US Open are the two big goals for the rest of the year for me really. I'm hoping I can be at my best in those two tournaments.
Novak Djokovic said at the press conference after his Wimbledon final defeat

He will be arriving in Paris without a title this season. In the US Open, the Serb will be defending his title as it was in this tournament he won his last (his 24th) major title by beating Daniil Medvedev in straight sets in the final.
