Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay reportedly broke down in tears before addressing the media after his team’s heartbreaking playoff loss to the Philadelphia Eagles. The Philadelphia Eagles eliminated the Rams in the Divisional Round of the NFL postseason this year.
After the game, an emotional Sean McVay praised his players, commending their efforts during a challenging stretch for the Rams. Just a week earlier, their NFC Wildcard Playoff matchup was relocated to Arizona due to devastating wildfires in southern California, which forced their game against the Vikings to be moved. The Rams, despite losing their home advantage a bit, made fun of the Minnesota Vikings who had won fourteen games in the regular season.
In the aftermath of the gut-wrenching loss, McVay spoke to reporters about the game. McVay admitted that he felt the win was just a whisker away.
D’Marco Farr, former Rams defensive tackle and member of the 1999 Super Bowl-winning team under Dick Vermeil, shed light on McVay’s emotional state during a candid conversation on The Travis & D’Marco Show.

McVay, coaching his 13th postseason game and the thirteenth opponent, came very close and gave the Eagles a real scare. The Rams braved the inclement weather, an aspect where their statistics stacked up pretty bad for them. But, as everyone knows, they couldn’t make it to the end. As for the Philadelphia Eagles, they will take on Washington Commanders. The Commanders is led by a rookie who’s eager to become the first-ever first-year to lead his team to the Super Bowl.
