The current Australian Test side is among the most feared sides at present if not the most feared. Ranked number 1 in the Test rankings, the Aussies with their aggressive brand of cricket have proved to be a hard nut to crack for many sides in the recent past. The side is blessed with fiery pace bowlers, wily spinners, handy all-rounders and above all assured batsmen.

It is thus no surprise that the number 1 ranked bowler as well as batsman are from Australia. Fast-bowler Pat Cummins leads the bowlers charts with 904 points while batting ace Steve Smith leads the batsmen charts with 911 points. The duo poses the biggest threat to any side playing against Australia more so, while touring Australia.

India who are currently in Australia with the 4-match Test series scheduled to begin from December 17 at the Adelaide Oval will focus on nullifying the threat of Cummins and Smith in order to find a way to win matches. But against two players playing at their best, the Indians will have their tasks cut out.

A video of Pat Cummins bowling a ball at the nets to Steve Smith has gone viral today courtesy the latter himself who shared it on his Instagram story. The video sees Cummins bowling an out-swinging delivery to Smith who is completely beaten on the outside edge by the delivery.

Smith captioned the video, “When you are facing 142 km leg spinners bowled.” The video was shared by Pat Cummins’ Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) who termed the delivery a ‘screamer’.
