With the four-match series between India and Australia all square at 1-1 at the moment, and the build-up before the final two Tests heating up, all eyes will be on the third Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground. India will look to make another strong statement like the one they made at the MCG in the second Test after the debacle at the Adelaide Oval in the first Test.

Australia will be bolstered by the return of David Warner who is expected to play despite not being 100% fit. India on the other hand, have already announced their playing XI and have brought in Rohit Sharma in place of Mayank Agarwal and Navdeep Saini in place of the injured Umesh Yadav.

The third Test tomorrow will witness history being made as Australia’s Claire Polosak is set to become the first female match official to officiate in a men’s Test match. Polosak will be the fourth umpire for tomorrow. The 32-year-old already has the achievement of being the first female match official in a men’s ODI when she officiated in a match between Namibia and Oman in 2019.

For tomorrow’s Test, the on-field umpires will be Paul Reiffel and Paul Wilson and the third umpire would be Bruce Oxenford. The match referee will be David Boon from Australia.
