India vs Australia: Watch how Shubman Gill crushes Mitchell Starc for ‘6,4,4’
The young 21-year-old has again captured the broadcasting lines as he hit a smashing inning on Day 5 of the ongoing fourth Test match in Brisbane. Shubman Gill again gave reasons as to why he can deem fit as a perfect opener for Team India.
After an early dismissal of Rohit Sharma early during the day, Gill went to score 91 runs off 146 balls in India’s second innings, until he was dismissed by Nathan Lyon in the 46th over. Lyon’s spin was assisted by the widening cracks on the pitch. Nonetheless, Gill dominated Aussies key left-arm pacer, Mitchell Starc and smashed three bizarre shots on his bowling.
He left the spectators is awe for his pull shot which went for a six. Shubman Gill got on top of the short ball and pulled it behind square for a massive six. He then hit two consecutive fours after he smashed the ball for a six.
Gill has become the highest run-scorer for India in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar series. Truly, he deserved the century that he missed.
