The fourth and the final Test of the Border-Gavaskar trophy in Brisbane was indeed a decider! The tensed nerves kept the viewers glued till the very last. However, good sense prevailed as India emerged winning in flying colours. India retained the Border-Gavaskar Trophy but what came to be a cherry on the cake is that it came not after a draw, but as a win of 2-1 in the series.

As the celebrations erupted in all ecstasy, surprisingly, an Australian fan was seen cheering for Team India after the emphatic historic win.

The win tasted all-the-more juicy as Australia’s head coach, Justin Langer spoke high of the Indian team. Post-match, Langer said, “Amazing performance by everyone. Amazing captaincy by Rahane. 11 players are selected out of 1.5 bn Indians. Each one of them is going to be very tough.”
