Indian opener Rohit Sharma got trolled on his Instagram account by his wife Ritika Sajdeh for his post taking a dig at the drama surrounding the pitch in the ongoing series against England. The pitch has been the center point of discussion ever since the test 4-match series began. If the second test in Chennai created furore for favoring spinners too much, the third test in Ahmedabad was criticized even more.

The test ended within two days as both teams’ batsmen struggled to get going while the spinners made merry. After the match ended, a plethora of English experts criticized the pitch stating that it was not suitable for test cricket. The Indian cricketers however, came out in support of it saying that it was not dangerous and that the batsmen should have played better. Rohit Sharma was chief among those who came out in support.

Rohit Sharma took to Instagram yesterday to post a picture of himself lying down during a practice session. He captioned it cheekily taking a dig at the controversy surrounding the pitches and wrote, “Wondering what the pitch would be like for 4th test.” The post was very well welcomed by Indian fans as they loved the indirect attack at the critics of the pitch in the ongoing series against England.

Among the replies that Rohit Sharma got, one was from his wife Ritika Sajdeh who wrote, “And you make fun of me for lazing around like this.” Ritika’s reply soon went viral on social media and the likes of Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav were seen applauding her hilarious reply.
