Indiana Pacers win their consecutive against Miami Heat in OT

Justin Holiday scored 15 points and bashed consecutive 3-pointers in OT to ensure than Indiana Pacers sweep the 2-match series against defending Eastern Conference champions, Miami Heat. Domantas Sabonis scored another team leading 17 points and 11 rebounds, double-double. All of the Indiana Pacers’ starters scored in double digits.
As far as the Miami Heat as concerned, they have lost their third consecutive after this loss against Indiana Pacers. Bam Adebayo led the Heat with 29 points and 10 rebounds. While forward Jimmy Butler also added a double-double with 21 points and 15 rebounds. Despite the recent struggles, the Heat are still not paying too much attention to the issues because of their recovery.

The Indiana Pacers erased a 103-98 Heat lead on Holidays conversions from beyond the arc. Malcolm Brogdon added another 3-pointer, increasing Indiana’s lead to 107-103. Miami rallied from a 94-87 deficit in the final 4:26 of regulation and tied it at 98 on Jimmy Butler’s first of two free with throws with 15 seconds remaining. Butler missed the second attempt.
“Losing sucks,” Heat’s Center Bam Adebayo said as per Fan Nation. “It is either winning or losing, there is no in between. Nobody wants to lose three games in a row considering we fought back from being in the bottom of the East. We are going to figure it out and get back in it.”
“I think that is part of mental toughness, is continuing to shoot shots you are capable of making, that are great shots for your offense whether it is going in or not,” Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said. “You cannot become obsessed with the result. If we make a higher percentage of those shots, then the tenure of the game could feel different.”
