Jennette Timko, famous on Instagram for posting lifestyle and fitness content, received a gift that she proudly displays on her profile’s bio. On Thursday, March 26, Timko visited the Dolby Theatre in downtown Los Angeles to catch a glimpse of Taylor Swift and other famous musicians. She never imagined she’d end up being recognized as well.

Swift walked by the aisle—occupied by Timko—wearing a gorgeous custom mint green (or seafoam green) velvet corset and a matching miniskirt designed by Wiederhoeft. Timko opened her phone camera to immortalize the moment by capturing herself in the same frame as the Grammy winner.

She achieved her goal, but Swift made her day even better. The 36-year-old singer called Timko “beautiful.”

Of course, Swift was not alone at the event. Her fiancé, Travis Kelce, accompanied her the entire night. She won the Best Pop Album for her 2025 album The Life of a Showgirl. During her acceptance speech, she gave a cute shout-out to Kelce for bringing happiness into her life.

The album came out with this energy of just feeling really happy and strong and confident and free. And so I want to say thank you to the fans for giving me that feeling. I think that this album probably also feels very happy and confident and free because that’s the way that I get to feel every single day of my life, because of my fiancé, who’s here too [glanced at Travis]… So, thanks for all the vibes.

Swift and Kelce met with Olympic figure skater Alysa Liu during the event. Liu later told People that Swift is the GOAT (the Greatest of All Time) of singers for lending her voice to the introduction of “Blade Angels.”

[Taylor] is the G.O.A.T. of music. She lent her voice and music by narrating a video introducing me and the other ‘Blade Angels.’ I gotta say, I think that’s why we won.

Is Taylor Swift getting sued?

A few days after collecting her best pop music award, Swift received concerning news. She is facing a lawsuit for the “Life of a Showgirl.” Maren [Flagg] Wade, a writer, claimed trademark infringement, false designation, and unfair competition against Swift and UMG Recordings.

According to the lawsuit, Wade is seeking damages (unspecified) and a court order that will bar Swift from continuing to use the name “of a Showgirl.”

Jaymie Parkkinen, Wade’s lawyer, argued that his client, who spent “twelve years building a brand, shouldn’t have to watch it disappear because someone bigger came along.”

Wade has been active in the industry since her first appearance on America’s Got Talent in 2014. Later, she began writing a column in the Las Vegas Weekly, titled “Confessions of a Showgirl,” documenting behind-the-scenes stories of the entertainment world. She later expanded it to a podcast and a live show featuring pop and jazz music.

Per the lawsuit, when Swift applied for a trademark for the “Life of a Showgirl,” the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office declined because it closely resembled Wade’s mark. The institution emphasized that having similar names could confuse consumers into thinking the two entities are linked. Wade feels her brand is being overshadowed by a much bigger competitor and hopes the authorities will step in to resolve the situation quickly.
