There was a thrilling encounter between the teams in the Milan derby. Inter mostly looked strong controlling the first half until the tables turned. Perisic scored the opening hauler where Inter lead by a 1-0 margin after the first half. Giroud scored 2 goals giving the lead to AC Milan completely getting back to action.

Samir Handanovic (6/10): Made a crucial save in the 1st half preventing Lautaro from scoring. He couldn’t stop the incoming goals from Giroud.
Milan Skriniar (6/10): Skriniar was quite solid in the defense. His blocks are too strong where the attackers get very less chances to win an interception during his ball control.
De Vrij (6.3/10): Made some exceptional clearances from the box almost saving a goal opportunity. He stayed put at his position covering the center area well.
Alessandro Bastoni (5.8/10): Was actively involved in the first half. Had very much to do as the AC Milan attack went stronger in 2nd period.
Denzel Dumfries (5.9/10): Started another game with an early threat where he was almost close to scoring. Continued with a good push ahead throughout the game.
Marcelo Brozovic (6.2/10): Was present in the gaps whenever the attacking duty arrived. He was good with the run-running counter-attacks.
Nicolo Barella (5.9/10): Barella was sharp in midfield aiming a few good passes. He had a decent game overall.
Hakan Calhanoglu (7.3/10): He provided a great assist in searching Perisic in the right place. He’s been involved quite well throughout the game making fine use of the set-piece opportunity.
Ivan Perisic (8/10): Perisic was completely unmarked to place the corner successfully into the bottom corner with a left-footed shot giving the 1st goal advantage for Inter. His efforts from the wing gave trouble to Calabria more often.
Edin Dzeko (6.8/10): was looking sharp in attack searching for shots within the gaps. He gave good attacking support but was blocked in the defense more often.
Lautaro Martinez (6.3/10): Dragged his way forward in search of a goal every movement. He was alert with every pass but couldn’t find the nets with his efforts.

Vecino (5.8/10): wasn’t much involved in the midfield after entering up the field. Seemed to be lost most of the time in the game.
Alexis Sanchez (6.2/10): had a good opportunity to double up the lead but lacked the ball control. He was present at the right place but got blocked from the wing.
Darmian (5.7/10): He tried to provide some attacking support but got blocked with the efforts. He pushed his way forward very early on.
Vidal (5.8/10): Couldn’t provide much of an effort on the field. He wasn’t involved much with the movements.
Dimarco(5.7/10): He provided some good balls inside the box moving ahead. Got adjusted pretty well after entering
AC Milan
Mike Maignan (7.3/10): The Frenchman provided some good saves as usual. But he couldn’t stop the Perisic goal.
Davide Calabria (7/10): He gave a good cover-up playing ahead of Florenzi. He was actively involved throughout the whole game and also provided an assist pushing forward during the closing minutes.
Alessio Romagnoli (6/10): He received the 1st yellow card of the game. He had an average game as he couldn’t perform to his level best today.
Pierre Kalulu (6.1/10): He went for some good-headed clearances tonight. He managed to block Lautaro quite easily.
Theo Hernandez (5.8/10): Theo was not at his best form today. He was poor with the front push and couldn’t make his best use of attacking push and received a red.
Franck Kessie (6.1/10): Kessie couldn’t fit nicely towards the attacking midfield role. He had a decent game tonight.
Sandro Tonali (6/10): Tonali was strongly involved with the interceptions today. He got a few chances to push forward where he got involved with the passes.
Ismael Bennacer (6.4/10): He gave a good cover-up starting the game after so long. He gave a nice balance covering the place of Rebic.
Rafael Leao (6.1/10): The Leao magic unfortunately didn’t work out tonight. He didn’t give his best performance but gave a massive boost towards the attack.
A.Saelemaekers (6.1/10): He failed to impress in the game tonight. He was good with the ball movements but lost possession moving forward.
Oliver Giroud (8.5/10): Giroud had his few moments with the shots that went straight into the goalkeeper’s hand. He was involved properly in the attack scoring 2 back to back goals changing the whole momentum of the game.
Substitutions:
Krunic (6.1/10): He got very little chance to cover the defense position and was not much involved with the flow.
Junior Messias(5.8/10): He gave better support in the mid after entering. He couldn’t create a screamer though but had a good game overall.
Brahim Diaz (6.1/10): He tried to provide some good passes inside the box but they were easily blocked off. He almost contributed to the goal of entering as a super-sub.
