Inter Milan vs Lazio: Inter Milansquared off against Lazio at the San Siro in Matchday 21 of the ongoing edition of the Serie A.

Inter return to the top of the Serie A  with a 2-1 win. The hosts started strongly, Inter took the lead when Bastoni whipped in a superb 25-yard strike. Lazio had been poor up to this point but instantly hit back when immobile capitalized on defensive uncertainty to score. Inter re-established their lead after the break when Skriniar headed in Bastoni’s cross and then they managed to secure 3 points.

S. Handanovic (5.5/10): The goalkeeper played a decent game, made some good saves but was scored past once.

S.De Vrij  (6/10): The center-back was very solid in the defense making some important blocks and stops. His tracking back was also very good but also missed the golden chance to score

M.Skrniar (6/10): Skriniar was also very solid in the defense making some excellent last-second tackles and was the tiebreaking hero for the Inter Milan Fans, scoring a powerful header assisted by Bastoni.

A Bastoni (5.5/10): The center-back,s performance was very impressive but he did play some good passes and scored an equalizer from 25 yards and then assisted Skriniar for the tiebreaker and securing 3 points for his team.

D. Dumfries (6/10): The left midfielder was good in his off-the-ball movement, finding spaces on the right flank. He also managed a couple of shots at the goal.

N. Barella (6/10): The center midfielder was very agile and carried the ball with ease in the midfield. He played some very impressive passes and arrived in the box quite a few times.

M.Brozovic (6/10): The central midfielder time on the pitch was filled with some good pressing and link-up play from defense to attack.

Ivan Perisic(6.5/10): The Croatian midfielder was very impressive on the ball and played some excellent passes. He also made some good interceptions and carried the ball well.

R. Gagliardini (5/10): The center midfielder could not do anything special on the pitch today. Although he was able to hold onto the ball, quite a few times.

Alexis Sanchez  (5.5/10): The Bosnian midfielder played a very ordinary game. He could have created quite a few chances but could not capitalize.

Lautaro Martinez  (7/10): The Argentine Striker was probably the most effective player on the pitch for the home side with his excellent movement off the ball and his impressive ball movement. He was able to shoot at goal quite a few times.

Substitutes:

E. Dzeko (5/10): The striker tried his best to bring some impact in the game but could not succeed. Although, he played some good passes with his teammates.

J.Correa  (6/10): The midfielder was effective after coming off from the bench, carrying the ball well into the opposition half, and putting crosses into the box. Played some fantastic passes too.

Lazio

T. Strakosha  (6.5/10): The goalkeeper was very good in front of the net. Made some good saves but Inter managed success to score two goals past him.

S. Radu (6.5/10): The center-back was monumental for  Lazio with his excellent shot-stopping and defensive cover.

L. Felipe (6/10): Th center-back was also very solid at the heart of the defensive line. His distribution shot-stopping and blocks were very important to stop Milan from scoring more.

A. Marusic (6.5/10): The left-back was full of running whenever he was on the ball. His off-the-ball movement was also impressive.

E. Hysaj (6/10): The right-back who played decent in his performance. He managed to provide a great assist for the equalizer but had to spend his most time dealing with Inter’s attack.

T. Basic (6.5/10): The midfielder was quite an impressive holding on to the ball and making some fine passes and made some important challenges also received a yellow card for fouling on Sanchez.

S. Milinkovic-Savic (7/10): The midfielder was ever so elegant on the ball, but didn’t manage to do great and something profitable for the team.

D.Cataldi (6.5/10): The midfielder was good on the ball making some fine passes and making some good runs off the ball.

F Anderson  (6/10): The right-winger worked hard, kept running, and put pressure on the home side. He was played some good passes with the midfield.

Ciro Immobile (7.5/10): The Italian Striker was on target when a headed a ball from the defender to score the only goal for Lazio and equalize for the team.

Pedro  (6.5/10): The Spanish left-winger was good on the ball and kept running at the Milan defense whenever he had the ball.
