Inter Milan vs Sassuolo Player Ratings: Inter Milansquared off against Sassuolo at the San Siro Stadium in Matchday 25 of the ongoing edition of the Serie A.

Sassuolo were dominant team throughout the match, specially in the 1st half where they tore Inter’s defence to score two 1st half goals. A very early goal by Giacomo Raspadori saw Sassuolo take 1-0 lead. Then at the 26th minute Sassuolo were able to double their lead with a stunning header by Gianluca Scamacca.

Even in the 2nd half where Inter were playing with certainly more purpose and intensity, Sassuolo looked to be the far more dangerous team. They defended well and this along with a several missed chances by Inter Milan, saw Sassulo take all the 3 points tonight in a crucial away game.

Samir Handanovic (5.7/10): The goalkeeper though having made a few good saves, was a bit sloppy and nervous at times. He was scored passed twice by Sassuolo.

Stefan de Vrij (5.6/10): The Dutch defender was caught out of position a few times and could not stop the goals from coming. However, he made a few stops.

Federico Dimarco (5.7/10): The centre-back was fairly ordinary in the defence line but also was not very effective in stopping the goals. He got forward quite a few times.

Milan Skriniar (5.7/10): The defender similar to his centre-back partner had an ordinary performance and also got forward at times to support the attack.

Hakan Calhanoglu (6.2/10): The Turkish midfielder tried to control the tempo of the match and made some good passes to keep the Inter attack going. He also got a couple of shots at the goal.

Roberto Gagliardini (6/10): The Italian midfielder had a satisfactory performance in the midfield making some good passes and combinations but was slow to react in certain situations.  

Nicolò Barella (6.2/10): The Italian midfielder was good on the ball and his off the ball movement was also appreciable. He also made few interceptions.

Ivan Perisic (6/10): The Croation winger made some good runs both on and off the ball and pretty satisfactory performance tonight.

Matteo Darmian (5.6/10): The full back only played for 45 minutes and made some good runs off the ball and acquired good positions on the wing.

Lautaro Martínez (5.4/10): The Argentine striker did not have a very comfortable night tonight as he was very much wasteful in front of the goal, despite getting quite a lot of opportunities.

Alexis Sánchez (5.5/10): The Chilian had a similar performance like his partner in attack and was not much involved in the game apart from some good passes.


Denzel Dumfries (4.7/10): He was subbed on at the beginning of the 2nd half to bring more attacking prowess, which he brought but without much effect.

Edin Dzeko (5.3/10): He was involved in the game in the 45 minutes he played making passes and getting into attacking positions but could not deliver anything tonight.

Andrea Consigli (8/10): The goalkeeper was absolutely outstanding tonight making some stunning saves and able to keep a clean sheet.

Kaan Ayhan (6.5/10): The centre-back was really solid today in the 1st half in which he played tonight. He was subbed at the beginning of the 2nd half.

Vlad Chiriches (6.8/10): The Romanian centre-back was also very solid in the defence making some good challenges and interceptions.

Georgios Kyriakopoulos (6.8/10): The Greek left-back was brilliant today both on and off the ball. He made some good clearances and also was able to carry the ball well.

Mert Müldür (6.7/10): The Turkish right-back had a decent performance tonight carrying the ball well and making some fine passes. He also supported in the attack.

Maxime López (6.8/10): The French attacking midfielder was very good on the ball and made some fine combinations in the middle of the park to keep the attack going for the away side.

Hamed Junior Traore (7.5/10): The Ivorian midfielder was probably the best outfield player on the pitch tonight for the away side taking on players with ease and making some excellent runs with the ball.

Davide Frattesi (6.7/10): The Italian midfielder was decent tonight in hi performance as he played some good passes and made some good interceptions.

Gianluca Scamacca (7.5/10): The Italian striker was on target tonight as he scored the 2nd goal for Sassuolo tonight with a superb header. He had an impactful performance tonight overall.

Giacomo Raspadori (7.5/10): The Italian forward was very tonight in keeping the ball and carrying the attack of the away side and he also scored the 1st goal for the away side.

Domenico Berardi (7.5/10): The Italian forward was also very good in keeping the ball and making some fine passes with his teammates. He also assisted the 1st goal for Sassuolo.


Ruan (6.8/10): He has been defensively brilliant tonight making some crucial stops and blocks. He was also very good in the air as well.

Gregoire Defrel (5.3/10): He showed his attacking abilities tonight as he kept running with the ball at the Inter defence and always tried to create danger.
