IPL 2020: KKR VS SRH Preview, Probable XI, H2H, Fantasy XI and Match Prediction
KKR VS SRH

The eighth match of IPL 2020 sees Kolkata Knight Riders taking on Sunrisers Hyderabad at Sheikh Zayed Stadium on Saturday. Both teams haven’t got off to a winning start in the tournament. Kolkata Knight Riders lost to Mumbai Indians by 49 runs in the first game, while Sunrisers Hyderabad suffered defeat at the hands of Royal Challengers Bangalore in their first game.

Kolkata Knight Riders:

Ahead of the second game against SRH, KKR might make a few changes in their batting line up. With Sunil Narine struggling with bouncers, he might lose his opening spot to someone else in the next game. Dinesh Karthik’s promotion too didn’t help a lot to the team’s cause as well. It’s time when Andre Russell should bat up the order. Russell and Morgan both showed a lack of intent in the previous game. The franchise would want them to put on a better show with the bat on Saturday.

Nevertheless, both the players aren’t the ones to be missed out in your fantasy team.

KKR’s bowlers too didn’t bowl too well in the first game. Lead pacer, Pat Cummins went for plenty in his spells. Skipper, however, has backed him and is confident that the pacer will come good in the coming game. Young pacer, Shivam Mavi has impressed in his first outing against MI with his discipline show. Sandeep Warrier, though, could make way for Prasidh Krishna, if he gets fit for the next game.

Kuldeep Yadav’s poor run is perhaps Kolkata’s biggest concern at the moment. Looking at the slow surfaces of UAE, Kuldeep needs to turn up with good numbers if KKR fancy their chances in the tournament.

Sunrisers Hyderabad:

After getting run-out in the first game, David Warner would be itching to get out in the middle and score a big innings on Saturday. Jonny Bairstow starred for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the previous game and would look to replicate a similar performance.

With no Kane Williamson, Manish Pandey holds a lot of responsibility on his shoulders to anchor the innings. The team also expects Vijay Shankar to come up with better performance than the last time. He got out on his first delivery in the first game.

Mitchell Marsh’s injury perhaps could dampen team’s spirit as their middle-order now looks more depleted than ever.

Except for Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Rashid Khan, the bowling lacks steam. It will be interesting if they will make any changes or go with the same line-up.
