Kohli ran 302 runs this season
Kohli has collected 302 runs of his tally of 460 running between the wickets. Running has always been an important aspect of the Delhi lad’s game and is renowned to be one of the fastest players in the 22 yards. His ability to sneak singles and doubles enables him to steer through crunch situations in a game.
And his unique ability has come to his rescue in a season where his bat has been pretty silent. While he has amassed 460 runs in the 14 games so far, it has come at a timid strike rate of 122. Thanks to young talent Devdutt Padikkal‘s exploits at the top, RCB haven’t felt the impact of Kohli’s rather subdued performance this season.
All eyes will be on Kohli as RCB take on Sunrisers Hyderabad tomorrow in the eliminator. More than Kohli’s batting, the team will seek his charismatic leadership as they go into the crucial game on the back of 4 loses on the trot.
