IPL 2020: Virat Kohli finds RCB’s first virtual team meeting awkward

The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) players landed in the UAE earlier this week ahead of the IPL 2020. Yesterday, they posted a photograph of Virat Kohli sweating it out in the gym on his first quarantine day in the Emirates. And now, the fans got to sneak peek into the first virtual team meeting of RCB after their official social media handles shared a video of the same.
A total of more than 30 participants attended the meeting which included the likes of skipper Virat Kohli and the Head of Cricket Operations Mike Hesson. RCB’s core players such as AB de Villiers and Yuzvendra Chahal also joined with the head coach Simon Katich.
The meeting began after Hesson welcomed the new entrants of this year’s squad in which Chris Morris if the biggest name. Virat Kohli also led the meeting while talking about the importance of the bio-secure bubble and how important it’s for all the players not to breach the protocol.
The skipper told how awkward it is for him to have the first team meeting via a video call. Kohli also expressed his eagerness to have the first practice session with the RCB this year.

Virat Kohli’s training continues in quarantine
The Indian camp of Royal Challengers Bangalore landed in Dubai, UAE on Friday ahead of IPL 2020. RCB skipper Virat Kohli also joined the team on the same day and the moment he reached the hotel, Kohli shared his picture with the caption “Hello Dubai ???”. He also shared his photograph in the gym as an Instagram story with a caption “Keep putting in the work“.
