IPL 2021: “He who laughs last laugh best” – Jofra Archer replies to Punjab Kings’ tweet on his ‘predictions’

In the first encounter of teams Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals, PBKS edged out their opponent to come up trumps in the mammoth chase as Arshdeep Singh prevented skipper Sanju Samson to hit a six on the last ball of the innings. Samson was looking in blazing bunch and took Rajasthan Royals close to the total put up by the Kings but fell short by 4 runs.

After the win over Rajasthan Royals, Punjab Kings took to Twitter and mentioned Jofra Archer in a tweet. Sharing the scorecard of the match the PBKS wrote that even Archer did not ‘predict’ this. They were referring to a series of tweets by Jofra Archer that often finds a link to a prevalent event or an occurrence .

Jofra Archer was fast in response to the Punjab Kings tweet and remarked, “He who laughs last laughs best,” meaning that RR would come back stronger.

The Rajasthan Royals fast Bowler has been has been out of action for a while due an injury and the consequent surgery that he underwent and will miss some important matches.

As updated about Jofra Archer’s injury he has been given the clearance to bowl again in the nets after a surgery to remove a fragment of glass from his finger was successful. England Cricket Board (ECB), released a press note in which they said Archer has been given clearance by his hand consultant to resume training.

The fast bowler will also be allowed to return for light training with Sussex from this week. Further, he would be allowed to step up the intensity after 1 week, if the assessment gives a favorable result.
