IPL 2021: ‘He’s going to be No. 1 in the world’ – Suresh Raina heaps praises for CSK teammate Ravindra Jadeja
Suresh Raina and Ravindra Jadeja
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and India cricketer Ravindra Jadeja is undoubtedly one of the best current all-rounders across all three formats. Jadeja is having a great time at the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) as well. The 32-year old has impressed all in IPL 2021 despite coming back from a thumb injury.
Jadeja’s CSK teammate Suresh Raina hailed the Indian all-rounder ahead of the CSK vs SRH game. The former India cricketer said that Jadeja is going to be number one in the world and he absolutely loves his attitude.

“He’s been amazing, I would rather say that he’s going to be No. 1 in the world. I love his attitude, how he throws the ball and he enjoys his fielding. He’s a fabulous fielder and always throws a lot of balls around and hits with direct throws. I’ve been playing with him since the last so many years and I’ve been part of a lot of memories,” Raina said in a video played during the IPL pre-show on Star Sports.
‘Jadeja has to be in all three formats’: Raina
Suresh Raina mentioned that Ravindra Jadeja is such a match-winner that every captain wants him in his side. He added that the southpaw can change the momentum at any point of the match and should be there in all three formats of the game.
“I think Jadeja is one person who can really change the momentum. Whoever is the captain in the side, really wants him in the team. When things are not in favour, one moment can change everything. And that’s what he has been doing… he’s been batting well, bowling really well and he has taken almost 7-8 catches already. I think someone like him has to be in all three formats,” Raina added.
