IPL 2021: Liam Livingstone leaves Rajasthan Royals due to bio-bubble fatigue

Liam Livingstone
In what is yet another blow to the Rajasthan Royals (RR), a third Englishman has been ruled out of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in Liam Livingstone. After Jofra Archer‘s ruling out from the initial part of the season and Ben Stokes from the entire edition, Livingstone leaving the camp is a big loss for RR due to the fact that he provided depth to the squad and was next in line to feature in the playing XI instead of an overseas player.
The reason for Livingstone leaving the RR camp is because of bio-bubble fatigue that he accumulated over the course of the last one year. It’s worth noting that this is Livingstone’s second stint with RR. He was already a part of the same franchise in 2019 before being released and going unsold in the 2020 edition. The franchise released a statement today on their social media handles about the English all-rounder’s decision to leave the side.

Rajasthan Royals posted a picture of Livingstone with Riyan Parag and wrote, “Liam Livingstone has flown back home late last night, due to bubble fatigue accumulated over the past year. We understand and respect his decision, and will continue supporting him in any way we can.” Soon after the announcement, messages of support started pouring for the English all-rounder along with respect for his decision.
It is noteworthy that RR might be tempted now to name a replacement for Livingstone due to the fact that Archer is already unavailable and Stokes has been ruled out.
