Kerala wicket-keeper batsman Mohammed Azharuddeen has had a dream year. After shooting into the limelight in the domestic Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy where he stunned the world with a 37-ball hundred against Mumbai, he was picked by the Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) franchise for the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) which is currently underway.

Although he hasn’t appeared for the RCB side yet, Azharuddeen has remained enthusiastic about being a part of the franchise as is evident from his social media posts. Today, he posted a picture of himself with RCB skipper Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma on his social media handles. The picture has gone viral now and fans of Kohli as well as Azharuddeen have expressed their admiration of the picture.

With regard to the Royal Challengers Bangalore, the side has got off to a flying start in the IPL as it has won each of its first four matches. The side looks settled as ever and with the likes of Kohli, Devdutt Padikkal, Glenn Maxwell and AB de Villiers looking in imperious touch, coupled with the vastly improved bowling attack, the RCB fans have already started to believe that this could be their year.
