The Indian Premier League (IPL) is known for bringing the best players in the world together. And we saw yet another example of it on Thursday as the Protea stars Faf du Plessis and AB de Villiers reacted to MS Dhoni’s video of playing street cricket. Dhoni was seen playing street cricket in the latest advertisement of Dream 11.

In the video, the former Indian captain was seen using bikes to resume play after bad light stopped play during a street cricket match. Reacting to the video, former South Africa captain du Plessis was seen reminding Dhoni of his promise to take him on motorcycle ride.

“When are we taking your bikes out for a ride? You Promised. We’re a TEAM afterall,” du Plessis tweeted.

AB de Villiers wants MS Dhoni bowling

In the video, Dhoni was seen bowling and also managed to dismiss his opponent. Reacting to the video, de Villiers urged Dhoni to give up keeping and start bowling instead. “Definitely prefer you bowling than keeping. New role?” tweeted de Villiers.

The first match of the 14th season of the IPL will see Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore lock horns in Chennai. The tournament opener is set to be cracker with two of the stalwarts of the league facing off. De Villiers along with RCB skipper Virat Kohli will be seen in action.
