IPL 2021 Player Auction Live Updates: No Disney+ Hotstar subscription required to watch VIVO IPL auction

The auction for the 14th IPL edition will get underway at 3 PM on Thursday. The big show will be telecasted and streamed live from ITC Grand Chola Hotel in Chennai.

The spectators can catch the live telecast on the Star Sports Network– Star Sports 1, Star Sports Tamil, Star Sports Hindi, Star Sports Telugu, Star Sports Kannada.

Besides, it can also be watched on Disney+ Hotstar VIP that too without any subscription.

First player auctioned will be Australian Limited-over Captain Aaron Finch

With franchises briefed, rules explained on Wednesday, a total of 292 players will go under the hammer in their pursuit to play IPL. The auction will begin with batsmen and then move on to all-rounders, wicket-keepers and bowlers.

Firstly, the capped players will go under the hammer followed by uncapped players. There will also be breaks in between for teams to discuss their strategies.
