Delhi Capitals (DC) pacer Anrich Nortje has completed his mandatory quarantine period after testing positive for the novel coronavirus. The speedster has joined the camp and will be available for selection from their upcoming game against Punjab Kings (PBKS)

The Proteas cricketer said that ten days in the room was quite a lot for him. However, he looked hopeful for building things up from here on. Nortje added that DC is currently not underestimating any team and looks forward to putting their best on the table.

“Ten days in the room was quite a lot for me. It was nice to get out, run around and bowl a bit. I really enjoyed it and hopefully, I can build it up from here on,” said Nortje in a press release issued by his franchise on Saturday.

Anrich Nortje admitted that their franchise is missing the services of Shreyas Iyer who’s been ruled out from the tournament due to an injury. He added that the last year’s runner-ups have got great options in their side and they look forward to making the most out of them.

When asked about the make-up of the Delhi Capitals squad, the South African said, “We are unfortunately missing Shreyas (Iyer), but we definitely have a great combination of players. We have got a great bowling line-up as well.”

It’s just about picking the right team on the right wicket and conditions. We have a lot of options in our bowling line-up, which is really nice to have and hopefully we can make the best of the conditions and the different players that we have got,” he signed off.
