IPL 2022: Lucknow Super Giants’ jersey leaked; fans react on Social Media

There are three things that the IPL fans are desperately waiting to know. Royal Challenger Bangalore’s new captain, the two new teams Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Gujarat Titans’ respective jerseys and theme songs. However, it seems the fans got a glimpse of the LSG franchise’s jersey when Bollywood rapper, Badshah, came to shoot the theme song for LSG.

IPL can see Badshah in the promo of the LSG team. The promo is also choreographed by senior choreographer Remo D’Souza. For the shooting, the two artists reached Lucknow on Wednesday in Old Lucknow (Imambada) and Nazarbagh.

Hearing the news of their arrival, fans couldn’t wait and reached the shooting place to see them. That shooting also revealed the jersey of the Lucknow Giants as Badshah could be seen wearing it during the shooting. A viral video of the rapper formed speculation among the fans about the jersey.

Blue and orange are the two colours seen in the official logo of the Lucknow franchise. To claim the leaked jersey as the official one, that same blue colour was worn by Badshah with a patch of orange on the shoulder. But the Lucknow franchise has not yet made an official announcement.

The fans took to social media to share the photos and videos of the leaked jersey worn by Badshah.

The two new additions to the IPL 2022, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Gujarat Titans have their first match against each other on March 28. Skipper KL Rahul will lead the new The Lucknow Giants team. IPL will kick start on March 26 with the match between former champion Chennai Super Kings which will be led by Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Kolkata Knight Riders, which will be led by newly-appointed captain Shreyas Iyer.
