Cam Ward is a great quarterback with a bright future in the NFL. Off the field, though, he rarely makes much of a fuss, especially about his love life, considering he is rumored to be dating Hollywood star Jenna Ortega.
It’s unclear when the rumor first began to circulate of the two being romantically involved with each other. In 2023, a fan Instagram account shared a photo of Ward (aged 21 at the time) and Ortega together, pouring fuel on the fire.
However, the issue with the entire scenario is that the Instagram account no longer exists. It was deleted shortly after uploading the photo. It made fans of both Ortega and Ward question the legitimacy of their relationship.
The rumor made zero sense because, around this time, The Wednesday star was busy shooting for Scream VI and Miller’s Girl. Ward, on the other hand, was ready for a change of scenery. After two seasons with the Washington State Cougars, he entered the transfer portal and joined the Canes in Miami.
Logically, neither had time enough time to meet each other let alone take pictures.
In a segment of the Just Between Us podcast, Ortega addressed her relationship status.

Before Asher, Ortega reportedly dated her Stuck in the Middle costar Isaak Presley, who played her big brother Ethan from 2016 to 2018. However, it remains a rumor to this day.

The name of the girl that the former Miami Hurricane quarterback Cam Ward is dating is Nailah Gordon. Ward and Gordon met each other back at the University of Incarnate Word. Gordon is a standout volleyball player for the Cardinals.
Even though they rarely make an appearance in the public domain, fans can follow her on TikTok, where she posts videos of her daily life as a budding volleyball player.

Gordon grew up in Chicago, Illinois, and joined Barry University but later transferred to UIW. She’s presently pursuing a degree in media studies, focusing on public relations and advertising.
Cam Ward is a baller
Ward made a name for himself as a gunslinger on the football field, leading the Miami Hurricanes to a 10-2 finish in the 2024 season. According to Pro Football Focus, Ward possesses one of the best arms in football.
He’s able to produce an incredible amount of velocity in each throw. Arm strength isn’t all about how far you can throw the ball downfield; the velocity with which you throw is arguably more important.
PFF’s scouting report revealed
ESPN’s draft guru Mel Kiper projected Cam Ward to be a top 5 pick in the 2025 draft. Teams such as the Cleveland Browns, Tennessee Titans, Las Vegas Raiders, and New York Giants are among the favorites to land the future star.
