Is Cardinals’ Sean Murphy-Bunting dating Bobby Althoff?

Social media personality and podcaster Bobbi Althoff nee Heck has set the Internet abuzz with speculation surrounding her love life. In a recent TikTok video, Althoff appeared to subtly hint at a new relationship, featuring a mystery man whose face remained unseen.

Eagle-eyed fans were quick to speculate that the man in question could be none other than Arizona Cardinals cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting. The rumors were fueled by the pair’s intriguing past connection, including a viral clip from earlier this year where Murphy-Bunting carried Heck out of a bar, a moment that sparked widespread conversation online.

Murphy-Bunting, has, however, broken his silence on the growing rumors. He denied rumors by responding to a post on X.

Sean Murphy-Bunting clarified

Murphy-Bunting previously came to Althoff’s aid during a challenging moment in July. According to TMZ, he carried her out of a Nashville bar after she passed out. Althoff later expressed her gratitude in an Instagram Story, thanking him for “looking out” for her. In an interview with Arizona Sports, Murphy-Bunting spoke about the incident.

It was really just helping a friend in a situation that I felt like she needed help in. Just obviously being out having fun, reading the room. I just felt like things were off, and just wanted to make sure that she got home safely.

The podcaster also hinted at her new relationship through Instagram Stories, though the posts are no longer visible at the time of writing. Having finalized her divorce from ex-husband Cory Althoff earlier this year, she has yet to address the swirling dating rumors.

Bobbi Althoff shot to fame in her interesting way, although many of the interviewees or the viewers would agree, of interviewing celebrities. In one of the videos made with Drake, she alleged that the duo had a physical relationship in the past. The divorce followed the allegations and scandal, as Cory filed for the legal documents for the dissolution of the marriage.

Cory, a senior official at CompTIA, and Bobbi were married for four years and have two daughters. The former couple now co-parent the two daughters as Althoff maintained that there was no bad blood or hate post the divorce.

Sean Murphy-Bunting isn’t the only NFL player tangled in the mess

Murphy-Bunting wasn’t the only name fans speculated about as Bobbi Althoff’s mystery boyfriend. NFL player Cedric Ogbuehi also became a subject of fan guesses after appearing in the comments of Althoff’s soft-launch relationship video.

Ogbuehi, however, quickly shut down the rumors in response to a video by user @amandachristine_1, who discussed Althoff’s new relationship. He denied being the mystery man and also clarified that it wasn’t Murphy-Bunting, as the creator had suggested. Althoff humorously replied to Ogbuehi’s comment with six exclamation marks.

The said Instagram user later posted a follow-up video acknowledging her mistake. Other names speculated by fans included Austin McBroom, Keith Powers, and Toosii.
