Kamaru came into this fight from a 12-match consecutive winning streak looking to break former champion, George St-Pierre’s record. GSP had a record of 12 matches consecutive winning streak. After the victory against Burns, Kamaru passed the legend with 13 matches undefeated in the welterweight division.
