Is MS Dhoni pursuing hobbies after cricket retirement? Watch to find out
MS Dhoni Retires
Legendary Indian player MS Dhoni has taken to agricultural farming in the second innings of his life. Dhoni, who served in the military during his sabbatical from cricket, has chosen to full-time farming post his cricket retirement. However, he will still play cricket while captaining Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Giving 6-7 hours of his daily routine in the farms, Dhoni is wholly committed to building his organic farming venture. He loves learning agri-related activities in an integrated farming system he has in Ranchi.
The former Indian skipper has reportedly taken up farming as his full-time job after announcing his retirement from international cricket on August 15, 2020. Encompassing 43 acres, his farmhouse at Ring Road in Sembo village is a hub of strawberries, cabbage, tomatoes, broccoli, papaya, peas, and hock.

Dhoni is including animal husbandry and poultry farming in his farm area. As per reports, seventy-five cows of breeds like Sahiwal are being reared in the farmhouse. He is also in a process to raise farm famous black ‘Kadaknath’ chickens at his organic poultry unit as the former Indian cricket team’s captain has ordered for 2,000 chicks.
The 39-year old will also export products from his farm to countries such as the United Arab Emirates. Currently, the produce is already being sold in Ranchi through kiosks.
