Sania Mirza’s marriage with Shoaib Malik ended in an unfortunate divorce with the netizens being split into two about the entire event. However, a new piece of information has rocked the internet and it states that Mirza is about to tie the knot with Indian pace sensation, Mohammed Shami. Just to ensure that this is nothing but a hearsay, Mirza’s father took to social media and clarified the entire scenario.

Malik and Mirza were married since April 2010 and they had a son named Izhaan from the marriage. Despite speculations of a divorce looming large, it was all pretty much under the wraps. However, things took a different turn altogether when Malik announced that he was getting married to Pakistani actress, Sana Javed.

A few days ago, Sania Mirza shared her thoughts on marriage and coincidentally, Mohammed Shami also seemed to be processing the same train of thoughts as his marriage life also ended in absolute chaos previously. The timing of the two posts made the netizens count two plus two as they felt that the next big fat wedding in the Indian sporting arcade is going to be between Shami and Mirza.

The fans felt that this is going to be the perfect match. As netizens are known for superimposing images which has become a lot easier with the advent of AI, they went forward and released a snap of Shami and Mirza together stating that the star couple will be marrying each other soon enough. The tennis star’s father, Imran Mirza, has come out in the open and made it very clear.

This is all rubbish. Sania has not even met Shami.

The communique from Mirza father is just a burning testimony to underscore how low the social media audience can stoop to just to boost their followers. In the meanwhile Mirza recently took to Instagram to post her new nameplate outside her house and it said ‘Sania and Izhaan’.
