It’s one problem after another for the Kansas City Chiefs. Isaiah Buggs has been arrested once again.
The 27-year-old defensive tackle can’t seem to shake off the bad element. Drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2019, Buggs played for various teams like the Las Vegas Raiders and the Detroit Lions before joining the Kansas City Chiefs last season.
Even though he barely made any impact for the Chiefs, Buggs won a Super Bowl ring, and since then it has gone downhill. He is in Tuscaloosa jail for alleged domestic assault charges. Ryan Phillips of the Tuscaloosa Dispatch first reported the arrest which was later confirmed by Dov Kleiman.

What was Isaiah Buggs’ first crime that landed him in jail?
In early May, news broke that Buggs’ neighbors saw two dogs, a white Pitbull, and a black Rottweiler, in the backyard of his Tuscaloosa house. They immediately called both the police and the local animal rescue team who concluded the pooches were not fed for a long time.
However, the Police failed to locate Buggs at the apartment. Upon further investigation, they discovered that the Louisiana native vacated the place in April. Buggs later turned himself in at the precinct where they filed two counts of misdemeanor charges. He was let go after paying $600 bail money.
The Chiefs’ offseason of horror
Buggs is the latest in a line that just keeps on growing. While Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce aim to secure the three-peat, some of their teammates have behaved like bad eggs.
It began with second-year receiver Rashee Rice whom, the Dallas Police booked for 6 counts of a collision involving injury, one count of a collision involving serious bodily injury, and one count of aggravated assault for road rage on the freeway.
Additionally, a photographer accused him of assault at a Dallas night bar. He later dropped the charges against the SMU graduate.
4 Chiefs players have been arrested this offseason (thus far). They going for the record. Horrible organizational culture btw. https://t.co/vlpsJRj6Ib

Chiefs offensive tackles Wanya Morris and Chukwuebuka Godrick spent a few days behind bars after the Police found traces of banned substance from them. Both players, who joined the Super Bowl winners through the international player route, were let go after paying a fine.
