Really trippin on how these young kids are moving around!!! I really had a life changing moment yesterday where a kid pulled a AK47 out on me and the homies and if it wasn’t for who I was and him recognizing me in my own city he probably woulda ended all of our lives. Be SAFE.

Isaiah Thomas deletes his post that said an AK-47 was pulled on him by a kid

Isaiah Thomas has deleted the social media post that described a harrowing incident in Washington where a young individual pulled out an AK47 on him and his friends. Thomas, a two-time All-Star, had credited his recognition as a basketball player for de-escalating the situation.

Thomas, a native of Tacoma and University of Washington alumnus, has strong roots in the Pacific Northwest and remains a prominent figure in the local basketball scene. After going unsigned in 2022-23, he made his return to the NBA this season, first playing for the Salt Lake City Stars in the NBA G League before joining the Phoenix Suns.

Thomas saw limited action with the Suns and logged 19 minutes across six regular season games and played in their first-round playoff loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Despite his limited playing time, Thomas’ experience and reputation as a skilled player have continued to make him a notable figure in the NBA.
