Internet sensation IShowSpeed scared off NBA star Josh Hart and rapper Lil Wayne, after trying to perform a backflip at Fanatics Fest NYC.

As Fanatics Fest NYC enters into its second day, it continues to offer fans the rare opportunity to meet with their favorite sports stars. On the first day of the festival, popular YouTuber IShowSpeed participated in some of the many events. Particularly of note, was when the internet streamer tried to show off his athleticism in front of NBA star Josh Hart and rapper Lil Wayne.

In a video going viral online, the 19-year-old attempted to perform a backflip standing on the arms of a couch while Hart was seated. The performance was likely expected to make the crowd cheer wildly, but the New York Knicks player was having none of it.

In the clip, Josh Hart could be seen visibly struggling to trust Speed with the backflip as he tried to move away. Meanwhile, Lil Wayne could be heard telling the streamer to exercise caution as he tried to perform the acrobatic move.

Donning a Cristiano Ronaldo Portugal jersey, Speed refused to back down and instead carried out his backflip stunt with another individual. Hart on his part, switched to a different chair and joined in the countdown with the crowd. Nonetheless, given his determination, IShowSpeed eventually succeeded with the backflip and received loud cheers from the crowd including the Knicks star.

And as it turns out, this is what makes Fanatics Fest appealing to fans. The event was also star-studded, primarily featuring sports stars and legends. However, it also included other notable celebrities like famous rapper Lil Wayne, whom basketball players Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart shared the stage with.

When IShowSpeed appeared on Logan Paul’s “Impaulsive” podcast recently, his behavior apparently got on the nerves of Kevin Durant who wasted no time delivering witty jabs at him. One of the standout moments that sparked reactions among fans was when Speed gazed at Kevin Durant as if he were his secret crush, unsettling the Phoenix Suns star in a matter of seconds.

Yet another moment during the podcast was the NBA star telling Speed that he cannot make any comparisons to him. In that instance, Durant once again made it clear he wasn’t just joking around but genuinely fed up with the YouTuber.

The streamer is widely known for his intense personality, which isn’t what everyone likes. And in the case of the 35-year-old, he didn’t hold back from roasting Speed whenever the opportunity arose.
