After having roped in NFL great Tom Brady for his debut episode of Speed Goes Pro, IShowSpeed appears to have shot one with the WWE Superstars at the Performance Center. The real-life Darren Watkins Jr. has uploaded a picture of himself holding up a clapperboard and wearing an all-black tee featuring the WWE logo via Instagram Stories. One could even spot Sheamus in the following picture on the top left side.
The 20-year-old streamer is expected to drop the WWE edition of his brand-new YouTube series called Speed Goes Pro, wherein he trains with the best athletes of their respective domains and tries to prove that he belongs in it professionally. Speed had the wrestling fans buzzing after his cameo appearance in this year’s 30-man Royal Rumble match.
He was backstage as WWE CCO Triple H extended him an invitation and gave Speed the nod to stream whatever he wanted. During the men’s Rumble, the 20-year-old internet sensation was live from the gorilla position, where he was standing beside former WWE chairwoman Stephanie McMahon.

Little did he know that he would have to sub in for Akira Tozawa, who got ambushed by Carmelo Hayes while the Japanese wrestler was making his entrance. Triple H called for Speed to fill the void, and though he was reluctant at first, Watkins Jr. went out to a loud crowd reaction. What transpired with him inside the ring was just unfair for a tyro like Speed. The latter fell victim to Bron Breakker’s gut-wrenching spear.
An almost unconscious Speed had to be helped to the back, and he regretted his decision of having stepped inside a WWE arena after going through what he did. The streamer’s post on X of him on crutches in the aftermath of his beating clocked over a million likes in total, making it the most-liked wrestling-related content on that platform.
IShowSpeed linked up with Randy Orton at his ‘Speed Goes Pro’ LA premiere
While IShowSpeed hasn’t made an on-screen appearance for WWE since his disastrous in-ring debut at the Royal Rumble, he has filmed at the PC, as mentioned above. Speaking of WWE stars who could be featured in the new episode of Speed Goes Pro, one of them is expected to be Sheamus, as he was in the picture in the background of the streamer.

Randy Orton is another potential prospect, as he’s someone who has quite a history with Speed. ‘The Viper’ got physical with Speed at WrestleMania XL in what was the YouTuber’s first-ever appearance on WWE programming. The Rolling Stone‘s 2025 Streamer of the Year was disguised as a giant PRIME bottle. He even barked at Orton and shoved him off after talking some trash to the ‘Legend Killer’.
It didn’t bode well for the 20-year-old as he got RKOed by the ‘Apex Predator’ on the top of a commentary table at ringside. Speed’s upload of that short clip on YouTube has over 235 million views and counting. But quite recently, the social media icon met Orton at the premiere of Speed Goes Pro at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

In a clip posted by WWE on X, Speed could be seen attempting to RKO the 14-time world champion from behind, but was eventually caught as Orton turned around in time. It seemed staged and intended to create a lighthearted moment between the two as Speed and Orton hugged it out.
‘The Viper’ thanked the streamer for not RKOing him but joked that Speed owed him one. Watkins Jr. was amusingly taken aback by Orton’s witty remark, and he reminded the St. Louis-born WWE legend of what he made him go through at last year’s WrestleMania.
