The unthinkable happened at the Royal Rumble when IShowSpeed participated in the 2025 men’s match. Speed, who was streaming backstage during the bout, was sent to the ring by WWE CCO Triple H. This came after Akira Tozawa got hurt and was unable to compete. Truth be told, Speed had a thrilling first outing inside a WWE ring. However, his inexperience landed him with potential bruised ribs and a humiliating elimination.

After entering the match to his “World Cup” song, Speed instantly helped Bron Breakker eliminate Otis. Breakker and Speed shared a moment, with the latter even hitting the ‘Siu’. While Speed celebrated with the crowd, Breakker began running between the ropes. Within almost next to no time, the Intercontinental Champion delivered a devastating Spear to the popular streamer.

Moments later, Breakker threw Speed over the top rope. However, Otis, who was still at ringside, caught Speed and sent him crashing over the announce table. And just like that, Speed’s WWE debut went viral online.

After receiving an invitation from Triple H, Speed showed up at the Lucas Oil Stadium to live stream behind the scenes. Speed interacted with the likes of Bianca Belair and John Cena backstage. Despite fan concerns of him potentially ruining surprises, the 20-year-old not only maintained professionalism but also put on a memorable performance.

This wasn’t the first time that Speed appeared on WWE television. His unofficial debut came at WrestleMania XL, where he accompanied Logan Paul to his match. Moreover, Speed was at the end of a vicious RKO after he interfered in the bout. Months later, Speed appeared alongside Paul again to announce WWE Draft picks.

Wrestling fans react to Bron Breakker’s Spear on IShowSpeed at the Royal Rumble

Needless to say, IShowSpeed received a lot of praise and respect for taking a Spear from Bron Breakker at the Royal Rumble. While most of the fans couldn’t resist laughing at the moment, others expressed concern for the streamer’s health.

Following his impressive performance, Speed took to his X account to claim that he was done with WWE, at least for the time being. In fact, fans agreed with his sentiment, suggesting that the 20-year-old stay away from professional wrestling.

Meanwhile, some fans called for Speed to become a WWE Superstar, commending his athletic skills and adaptability to the sport. Nevertheless, users were happy to see Speed in the Royal Rumble and hoped for more appearances from him in the Stamford-based promotion.
