WWE is currently taking part in Fanatics Fest NYC, offering the WWE Universe a chance to interact with their favorite stars. On the first day of the event, IShowSpeed participated in one of the many festivities. The popular streamer walked down the entrance ramp while Randy Orton‘s ‘Voices’ theme song played in the background.
Donning a CR7 Portugal jersey, Speed mimicked The Viper’s slow walk while the fans cheered him on. Of course, he did not forget to land a ‘SUII’ celebration during the entrance. One of the special guests at the Fanatics Fest yesterday, Speed, also interacted with the likes of Lil Wayne and Tom Brady. Speaking of the latter, the NFL legend made his own WWE entrance. Brady recreated Hulk Hogan‘s iconic walk, which did garner some heat from fans.
As for IShowSpeed, this isn’t the first time the YouTuber has interacted with the world of WWE. The 19-year-old first appeared at this year’s WrestleMania, accompanying Logan Paul to his match in a PRIME bottle. During the bout, he saved Paul from receiving a Punt kick from none other than Orton. Moreover, Speed aggressively shoved the WWE legend. This proved costly for him as The Apex Predator laid a vicious beatdown.
Orton hit IShowSpeed with the RKO on the announce table after barking in his face. Months later, the streamer once again appeared alongside Paul on the Raw edition of the WWE Draft. In fact, the celebrity duo announced the picks for one of the rounds. Nonetheless, only time will tell if Speed and WWE collaborate again in the foreseeable future.
Randy Orton spoke in detail about John Cena’s retirement tour
At Money in the Bank, John Cena announced that he would be retiring from WWE in 2025. Cena also confirmed a retirement tour for the entirety of the year, promising to appear on as many shows as he could. Recently, Randy Orton expressed his desire to have one more match with his biggest rival.
While speaking with Cody Rhodes on ‘What Do You Wanna Talk About?’, the 15-time World Champion said that he’s interested in facing The Cenation Leader. Orton detailed how Cena kept his retirement announcement secret from him on the day of the show. Emphasizing the importance of their years-long rivalry, he felt that they were destined for another bout.
In addition to teasing a future showdown, the veteran disclosed that he would love to be inducted into the Hall of Fame by Cena. Given that The Franchise Player will be appearing on close to 36 dates, it is likely that he might end up running back the clock against Orton.
