Mumbai City vs FC Goa : Le Fondre scores in the 95th minute
Mumbai City defeated Goa by a goal to nil in the Indian Super League courtesy of a late penalty. Sergio Lobera’s men went to a first win in the season after Goa went down to ten men.

First Half
Mumbai City starter off in quite a scrappy way in the initial moments with a lot of misplaced passes. Sarthak Golui received a yellow card after a careless tackle in the 24th minute. FC Goa too had a player in the book with Seriton challenging Hugo Boumos.
Le Fondre looked dangerous everytime he touched the ball but failed to create any substantial amount of threat. FC Goa were the far better side in the first half.
Redeem Tlang flew in with a horrible challenge on Santana and was shown a direct red card.
Second Half
FC Goa goalkeeper Mohammed Nawaz almost gave an easy goal to Mumbai as his pass brushed past Le Fondre. However the forward couldn’t control the ball.
Amrinder Singh was brought into action by Edu Bedia at full stretch with a flashy attempt from outside the box. Singh followed it up with another athletic save.
Mumbai City got the last laugh of the match as Le Fondre fired in from the penalty spot at Fatorda stadium.
Lenny Rodrigues in an attempt to stop Bipinder Singh’s header concedes the penalty only for Le Fondre to win it in the 95th minute.
