Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre have been enjoying their run as the Women’s Tag Team Champions. In an unexpected twist, they dethroned Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill in their home country of Scotland. As heel champions, they haven’t been keen on defending their titles much, but when Nick Aldis announced their title defense, they expressed their frustrations on social media.
WWE shared a video on X featuring the SmackDown GM making some important announcements. One of them was that Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre would be defending their tag titles against the powerhouse duo. Enraged by this, Dawn took to X and blasted Nick Aldis for making the decision. She called him ‘dumb’ and even mentioned making a video to address it.
On the latest episode of Raw, The Witches retained their tag titles in a three-way tag team match. In the final moments of the match, Fyre and Dawn used a Backstabber-Swanton combo on Shayna Baszler and Kairi Sane to secure the win. This is one of their two televised title defenses since they won the titles from Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair at the Clash at the Castle PLE in June.

Their second title defense came at the NXT Great American Bash against Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson. However, after holding the tag titles for a couple of months, they will face their biggest challenge yet in the form of Belair and Cargill. Undoubtedly, the match will be entertaining for fans, doesn’t matter who walks out as winners at Bash in Berlin, Germany.
Bianca Belair reacted after their title match at Bash In Berlin was made official
The current tag team champions are furious about having to defend their titles against two of the most powerful women at Bash in Berlin. Contrastingly, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill were brimming with confidence and high morale, as they had been demanding a rematch for a long time. The EST of WWE sent a message on social media after the match was made official.
The 35-year-old star took to X and expressed immense joy at getting the chance to win the tag titles again. An interesting fact is that neither Belair nor Cargill was pinned when they lost their titles, as it was a Triple Threat match. The Witches feared losing the titles to them, which was evident from their reactions after the match was made official.

On the latest episode of SmackDown, both teams faced off in a six-woman tag team match. Naomi, Cargill, and Belair paid tribute to Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles. They defeated the trio of Blair Davenport and The Witches. Some fans even thought outside the box and predicted a dramatic heel turn from one of the powerhouse duos.
