Islam Makhachev, the representative from Dagestan, is currently the champion of the UFC lightweight division. In just a few days, he is scheduled to defend his title for the fourth time since becoming the champion in 2022. Prior to this fight, the Dagestani fighter made an appearance on the live stream of controversial streamer Adin Ross.
The 24-year-old American-born streamer has gained significant popularity in the content creation world. As a high-profile streamer, Ross often collaborates with well-known personalities for In-Real Life (IRL) streams. Most recently, he live-streamed with UFC champion Islam Makhachev. During the stream, Ross also participated in a grappling exchange with Makhachev, trying his hand at MMA.
Ross made several attempts to acquire skills in combat sports, but he failed miserably each time. However, content creators like Ross often engage in such activities to maintain their relevance and spotlight. As a result, they are unlikely to shy away from these experiences. Recently, during the grappling exchange with Makhachev, even the slightest grip from the fighter made Ross reflect on his life choices.

Interestingly, Ross has often found himself embroiled in various controversies. Notably, during his live streams, the popular streamer makes several contentious comments and engages in controversial activities that frequently attract backlash from the public.
Despite this, Ross remains one of the standout streamers in the world, acknowledged by many, including UFC CEO Dana White. Remarkably, he continued his streaming and delved into other activities despite being choked by Makhachev during a grappling exchange.

Currently, Adin Ross is one of the standout streamers, alongside notable names like IShowSpeed and Kai Cenat. In addition to his streaming career, Ross is also a passionate MMA enthusiast. Over the years, he has made several appearances at UFC events. Most recently, he attended UFC 309, where he posted pictures with Donald Trump and Elon Musk.
Due to his frequent visits to the UFC, Ross is well acquainted with the status of many fighters. Because of this, whenever he meets them, he tries to experience some of their impressive moves or strikes. In his recent livestream with Islam Makhachev, the UFC lightweight champion, Ross even attempted to take a body shot punch from him.

Interestingly, unlike his previous experience with Alex Pereira, where Ross faltered after receiving some low kicks, he stood firm against Makhachev. This time, at the UFC Performance Institute, the American streamer wore a thick armor guard on his body, which minimized his pain significantly.
