Israel Adesanya‘s relationship with Francis Ngannou goes way back, and they still share the same bromance. Adesanya has immense respect for Ngannou’s achievements given his past struggles. He also wants a biopic to be made for Ngannou and has also suggested an appropriate actor for the role.
Adesanya and Ngannou recently met each other ahead of Izzy’s MMA return at UFC Saudi Arabia. Izzy shared an X post wanting controversial Hollywood star Jonathan Majors to play Ngannou in a potential biopic. It caught the attention of many fight fans given the recent history of Majors.
Yes, all he did was protect himself. He should and he should also play @francis_ngannou in his biopic!

In March 2023, accusations of assault sparked controversy around Majors, leading to legal battles and professional repercussions. Despite maintaining his innocence, he lost his management and faced career setbacks, including removal from major Hollywood projects. The former Marvel star, known for his acting talent and impressive physique, has the build to portray PFL heavyweight champion Ngannou.

Francis Ngannou’s story from his childhood struggles in Cameroon to learning to fight in Paris is definitely worth making a movie about. On top of that, the heavyweight fighter has had a very intriguing professional career. While Izzy has done a great job casting the actor, currently he is more focused on his upcoming fight.
UFC veteran predicts Israel Adesanya vs. Nassourdine Imavov
Israel Adesanya is currently scheduled to take on rising middleweight Nassourdine Imavov in the main event of UFC Saudi Arabia. It’s the first time in years that ‘Last Stylebender’ is not fighting in a pay-per-view event but that doesn’t concern him. His last outing didn’t go as planned as Dricus Du Plessis dominated Izzy, and tapped him in the fourth round.

Now, Adesanya has accepted his new role in the middleweight division and plans to make sure that young prospects respect him. Going into the fight, Izzy is the betting favorite, and many experts agree with this. Former middleweight champion, Michael Bisping, recently previewed the fight and shared his insights.
More than likely Israel Adesanya gets a decision. I think he uses the jab, I think he lowers his base, I think he’s probably pissed off and a little bit embarrassed…I think he maintains range, keeps his distance, moves around, uses all of the space inside the octagon and in Saudi Arabia.

Imavov is a tough challenger and is currently on a three-fight winning streak. Defeating Adesanya could get the French fighter a title shot that he has been eagerly waiting for. It would be interesting to see how the rising fighter manages to go through the massive experience of Adesanya this weekend.
