Jan Blachowicz stunned the world, when he defeated Dominick Reyes at UFC 253 to win the light heavyweight tile which was relinquished by Jon Jones. The Super Pole dominated the man who almost defeated Jon Jones, in a closely contested bout earlier this year. Winning the light heavyweight has shot Jan to the limelight, and now, he is expected to face middleweight champion Israel Adesanya in a title bout in the light heavyweight division.

Speaking of his possible title fight with Israel Adesanya, Jan Blachowicz said in an interview that if Adesanya wants to fight him, he might have to wait. He also discussed about the condition in his home country, due to the pandemic which is hindering him from going about his usual routine.

“I can fight in March with anybody; If Israel wants to wait, no problem” – Jan Blachowicz

In an interview with Ariel Helwani in his MMA Show, Jan said, I can fight in March with anybody. It’s no problem for me. But I cannot fight any earlier than March. If Israel wants to wait, no problem”, indicating that he wouldn’t be available for a few months, as he is expecting the birth of his newborn in December.

Jan Blachowicz also spoke about the pandemic situation in his home-country Poland. He said, “In Poland right now, the situation is not so good, and we don’t know what’s going to happen tomorrow, the day after tomorrow. Right now, we train normally but nobody knows what our government is preparing for. We’ll see what’s going to happen later.

Now, that Jan has given his word that he can fight with anybody, who else would you like Jan to face in his first ever title defense?
