As Israel Adesanya and Paulo Costa are heading into the title fight, and given the animosity between the two, this is going to be a blockbuster fight of this year. Maybe an after-fight brawl can also happen.

Given this animosity, Israel Adesanya, who will be  putting his middleweight title (and undefeated record) on the line on Sept. 26 in Abu Dhabi, will be bringing his “gang” with him for UFC 253 fight week. This is just for the precaution in case Costa decides to jump him in a parking garage or hotel corridor.

While recently speaking with Submission Radio, Adesanya said, “If we run into each other, I don’t care if he wants to throw down, we can throw down. I have my whole crew with me. I’ll have the gang gang with me.”

Adesanya clearly stated that he was bringing his gang with him to face whatever does.

“So, if he wants to try something stupid with white glasses and fucking cringe King whoever, bring it. My gang versus your gang. But I’d rather whoop his ass in the cage. So, he better not try something stupid,” Adesanya added.

Though a pre-fight altercation is unlikely to take place when the cameras are off, a post-fight brawl is likely to happen. Especially, at the media day staredowns which are known to witness several brawls when the fight gets personal, like this one.

There is no doubt that extra security will be made available for the fight, but in a fight like Adesanya vs Costa anything can happen anytime. But given there is no live crowd, the chances drop down and we may witness just Joe Rogan screaming OHHHH! every second.
