Cirstea reached the third round of the Australian Open earlier this year. Since then though she has not been able to go past the first or second round of most tournaments. But her fortunes seemed to have changed a bit on clay. Here in Istanbul, she has defeated three opponents to reach the Semi-finals of the tournament.
