Whether or not James Harden will be in the Houston Rockets’ roster is the biggest question of this season? New rumors emerge every day. To make the matters worse James Harden comes up with some or the other incident that leads him to another controversy. Lately Harden broke the NBA Covid-19 protocol by partying without a mask. However, NBA Analyst Max Kellerman said that James Harden joining the Brooklyn Nets will make the franchise worse.

During a recent edition of ‘First Take’, Stephen A.Smith explained that the Nets need James Harden on the roster to be able to beat the Lakers. That, as usual, sparked a big debate between Smith and his co-host, Max Kellerman, which ended in Stephen A. roasting Max for his takes.

Stephen A.Smith roasts Max Kellerman on James Harden take

“The Nets should absolutely not trade for James Harden,” Kellerman said. “You don’t want a ball-stopper, who by the way had chemistry issues with other stars in the past, even when they get along well off the court. The most important issue for me is, I think he makes the Nets worse. I mean, Harden is a great player (…) KD and Kyrie are working extremely well together, these are two guys that can do a lot of things, including shooting the ball. Look at how well the team is moving the ball, playing unselfishly, shooting from the outside, do everything you want them to do and look at the depth. They have depth on the team that is going to allow them to get out of the East and you’ll not sacrifice that for a dude that will come in, stop the ball and maybe, create chemistry issues.”

After which Stephen A.Smith responds by saying he will call the police to arrest Kellerman for having such a take and keeping this opinion.

Brooklyn Nets demolished Golden State Warriors in their opening encounter, having led by Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant. But some still feel the Nets would need to fill the missing piece if they want to compete against a very strong Los Angeles Lakers. With Harden by their side, the Nets can get past any team with ease. Be it the Lakers for the matter of fact, at least on paper.
