Kurt Busch acknowledged that it is intimidating and performance-demanding to work with Michael Jorden’s team. Kurt Busch went on to say that all this resonates with his character traits where adding he uses that tenacity inside him to aspire people surrounding him to either on the race track or the shop to work harder.
“It’s intimidating, but at the same time he demands performance and that’s who I am. I love to pull from within and to bring that tenacity and to bring that drive every day to the racetrack or the race shop. And it helps the others around me learn and give that same effort. And so, it’s that right here, it’s right here in your soul where you push harder,” Kurt Busch said.

Kurt Busch added that having Denny Hamlin 23X1 team co-owner and his fellow NASCAR racer who drives for Joe Gibbs Racing perfectly balance the team ownership dynamic. He added that Toyota, his car manufacturer is pushing him and his teammate, Bubba Wallace, well.
“Denny Hamlin’s the same way as an owner/driver. And so, it’s a great balance through with the ownership, with my teammate Bubba Wallace, and the way that Toyota is pushing us as well,” Kurt Buch added.
