Khamzat Chimaev, one of the hottest prospects in the UFC right now will face Leon Edwards, at UFC Vegas 17, on the 19th of December 2020, and it is official. Before the fight was decided upon, Khamzat had been calling out literally ever fighter on the middleweight and welterweight roster. It was due to the fact that the UFC initially struggled to land him a worthy opponent, as the Swede started completely dominating whoever he took on; once even fighting twice in 10 days.

As for Leon; the man has never been knocked out in his entire career and is currently riding a hot streak of 8 wins. However, the number 3 ranked welterweight fighter will be wary of the threat the Swede possesses and will be looking to emerge victorious and earn his first shot at the title.
