NBA stars are usually tall and physically intimidating. The likes with who normal folk generally avoid getting into an altercation. However, a group of men decided to ignore that narrative as they went up against Croatia teammates and NBA stars Ivica Zubac and Dario Saric in a bar. This is after they just lost their Olympic qualifier.

A video released by TMZ Sports showcased the Los Angeles Clippers star being grabbed by a couple of men. He somehow got his arm out and landed a hit on one of the men. Bouncers tried to separate them, but the heft of the big man ensured that they had their work cut out.

Seeing this, Saric, the new Denver Nuggets star, ran over to help his fellow Croatian basketball teammate. The altercation then showed bar bouncers keeping Zubac away as one of the men held Saric in a headlock and slowly brought him to the floor.

After he was helped up, the bouncers moved Dario Saric and Ivica Zubac away from the scene of the altercation. Now all this happened in Athens, Greece. Just after the Croats were eliminated by Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Greece national basketball team. Therefore, it is possible that the men at the bar probably said something to Zubac.

Why else would the otherwise calm center try and retort using his hands? It must have struck a nerve.

Both big men have endured frustrating ends to their NBA season with their respective teams. Therefore, this loss became more like an insult to injury.

Olympics loss resulting in bar fight has fans losing it

Fans of the sport know that players tend to lose it if wrong words are said. Ivica Zubac is not the type who will dominate opponents on or off the court. However, in this situation, it seems he could not take in whatever the men in the bar were saying. Naturally, the men involved were Greek, and their team just beat them.
