This week’s Raw had some banger matches. Unfortunately, it was a tough night for Damage CTRL as they suffered major defeats on the show. First, Dakota Kai and Kairi Sane lost their tag team opportunity, and then Iyo Sky lost her Queen of the Ring semi-finals. Following their losses, the members showed off their battle scars after their match.
Both Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky took to X to post pictures of them bleeding on their faces. The former Women’s Champion clicked a selfie with a nosebleed without any caption. Besides, Kai posted pretty beautiful photos with blood stains on her face. Also, the 36-year-old star expressed disappointment over her loss in the caption.
Moreover, there was a moment during the match when the Kiwi superstar suffered a brutal blow to her face, which led to a nosebleed during the match. The Genius Of The Sky was involved in a match with Lyra Valkyria, where the two stars tore the house down. However, Valkyria brought the best of herself and picked up the win.
It was a pretty somber turn of events for the Damage CTRL. With Asuka out due to injury, it has become tough for the crew. Ever since Sky lost her Women’s Championship to Bayley at WrestleMania, the faction’s performance has become stale. It is going to be interesting to see where the future of these ladies goes from here on out.
Report on the condition of Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai after injury
Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai suffered injuries on Raw. It felt like something went down when the two stars were busted open during their battles. However, new reports have emerged suggesting the condition of both stars after Raw.
According to Fightful Select, both Kai and Sky are healthy at this point. Despite the brutal, bloody injury, both ladies are getting treatment and will be back by next week. Now, they would be embarking on a new journey ahead of them with PLEs like Money in the Bank and SummerSlam next on the calendar.
Besides, it seems like it has become pretty significant that the Genius of the Sky and the 36-year-old star are going to be a major part of the Raw Women’s Division. Moreover, this new report has sidelined the possibility of any hiatus for the Damage CTRL as well.
