Julio Rodriguez’s recent performance in Thursday afternoon’s game at T-Mobile Park boosted the Seattle Mariners to a 7-3 victory against the Baltimore Orioles. This was a much-needed win as it ended the team’s losing streak in the regular season games.
Just before this game, boos could be heard from the stands as they lost to Orioles 1-4. However, they reclaimed their victory in front of an approximately 32k crowd when pitcher Andres Munoz secured their final round. “Happy Fourth of July,” Mariners GM Scott Servais commented. J.P. Crawford on the other hand said, “He fired everyone up.”
Servais complimented the team for “grinding through it.” He hopes this will build momentum for future games. Rodriguez on the other hand commented,

"If I start crying or complaining or beating myself up for what's happened, I'm not going to take the best advantage of the moment I have now. So that's just what I went out there and did today … Just going out there, and competing my ass off."
J-Rod’s 428-foot solo HR sparked the Seattle Mariners tie-breaking five-run rally. His lead-off double at-bat at 113mph was noted to be one of the hardest-hit knocks of the season. “That’s how talented he is,” Servais commented noting his play.
Mariners vs. Orioles match ends Gunnar Henderson’s slump with 27th HR of 2024
Despite the Baltimore Orioles‘ 3-7 loss against the Seattle Mariners, the team got one of their best players in shape – shortstop Gunnar Henderson. Compared to his last four-game performance, he returned to form during Thursday’s game at T-Mobile Arena.
During the 3rd inning, he slammed an 87.2mph at 378 feet from Bryce Miller, recording his 27th HR of the year. Commenting on his slump-slamming performance, Henderson said that it’s common in baseball but he tries to “limit it as much as I could.”
Just tried to limit it as much as I could. I feel like I was putting in some good work the past couple days just trying to figure it out and made some steps in the right direction today.Gunnar Henderson as per Heavy.com.
