In their most recent NBA game, the Memphis Grizzlies faced the Brooklyn Nets. Notably, the focus of this game was on Grizzlies standout Ja Morant‘s performance. Questions were raised about the Grizzlies point guard’s comments after he performed a move that went against his own declaration that he would no longer dunk.

On the court, Ja Morant‘s incredible athletic ability is a constant highlight reel. The Memphis Grizzlies guard has made himself and the team must-watch TV over the past five seasons with his incredible blocks, mind-bending layups, and ever-increasing collection of poster dunks. Nevertheless, he made a crazy dunk against the Nets.

He previously claimed that his bodily problems prevent him from performing dunks in the NBA due to “refereeing.” In his most recent game, Morant guided the Grizzlies to a decisive victory over the visiting Nets team. Morant had a spectacular showing and led the scoring. On the Nets, he scored 28 points, dished out 10 assists, and pulled down 7 rebounds.

Aside from Morant, the Grizzlies won for the tenth time in their last eleven games thanks to 21 points and eight assists from Desmond Bane and 20 points off the bench from Santi Aldama, who scored five 3-pointers. Jaylen Wells scored 12, Brandon Clarke scored 14, and Jaren Jackson Jr. scored 20 points. Up next for the Grizzlies are the Los Angeles Lakers.

Ever since then the Lakers and Grizzlies don’t see eye-to-eye in the NBA.
