Ja Morant has been making the headlines again, but for all the good reasons. After enduring a difficult period on the sidelines for the past two years, Morant is finally performing at his best for his side, the Memphis Grizzlies. He is one of the most exciting players to watch on the court if fully fit.

Recently, the Grizzlies faced off against the Brooklyn Nets. Morant shook the NBA community with his jaw-dropping displays against the Nets. He performed, not one, but two world-class 360 layups which left the NBA fans in awe. In respect to this, the official NBA X account posted Morant’s layups, garnering a whopping 161 million views, which became the ‘most-viewed’ video on NBA platforms this season.

Ja Morant also took to X to react to the NBA’s post. He posted a single smiley faced with tear emoji on X. This comes after all the hardships the Grizzlies star has been through in his career lately.

Morant was suspended by the NBA for showing a ‘gun’ on his Instagram Live last year. Then he suffered a season ending injury, and has since opened up on his mental health, sharing how tough it was being away from the court.

Ja Morant’s heroics were a bright spark for the fans despite the Grizzlies’ heartbreaking 106-104 loss to the Nets. A fully fit Morant is now back with the Grizzlies and is looking forward to making a mark on the NBA this 2024-25 season.
