Jack Draper has achieved a major milestone for Britain. Recently, Draper has been in outstanding form, particularly on grass courts. Riding a wave of confidence and motivation, the left-hander secured a stunning victory over defending champion Carlos Alcaraz.
After fighting hard in the initial rounds, the Brit was up against one of his hardest competitors ever in the quarterfinal round. He took on defending champion Carlos Alcaraz without any fear and even beat him in straight sets. After one of the best starts during the match, Draper took the lead in the first set and similarly went about in the next one.
However, he did fail a couple of times to put away Alcaraz at a 5-3 match point before finally hitting the winning point and securing his career-best win 7-6(3),6-3. The whole crowd, comprising his family and friends, cheered loudly for him. Even in the post-match interview, Draper had a heartfelt moment with his family as he gave a shout-out to his 80-year-old grandad.

The whole crowd celebrated this moment with Draper and happily saw their player beat the defending champion and advance to the next round of the tournament. Draper will now take on the fifth seed Tommy Paul in the quarterfinals.

Jack Draper reaches an incredible achievement with a grand victory over Carlos Alcaraz
British pro Jack Draper finally got a breakthrough in his career as he beat World No.2 Carlos Alcaraz in a straight set to advance to the quarterfinals of the Queen’s Club Championships. With the win, Draper not only got his career-best victory but reached a career-high ranking of World No. 28.
